Last I heard, America and none of her territories nor battleships has been nuked. Did Kim Jung Il declare war on us, in writing?
I'm trying to be a counter balance to the hysterical raving being posted here, by some.

Any nuclear weapon on the Korean Peninsula would violate the ban agreed upon in the Korean War Armistace and effectively return us to a shooting war there.
So yes, a nuclear test in North Korea would be a direct act of war against U.S. interests, per that Armistace.

North Korea just violated the Cease Fire Agreement. It stipulates NO nuclear weapons on the peninsula. So we are at war right now. Thousands of Americans are at risk.
