The only thing anyone can do really is use this as an example of how not to deal with rogue nations wishing to go nuclear in the future (i.e.Iran). This may help in educating people in the value (or lack thereof) of appeasement.

Unfortunately the appeasers won't agree it was their actions that caused this. They will claim it was the "belicose Bush administration" that pushed N. Korea to the Nuclear option. Of course this is manure, but that's what they will say. Many of the foolish in this nation will believe them.
