Thank you....although most of the credit goes to our President. 90% of this came directly from his 2004 platform, and 10% was from hubby and me.

Just another example of Republicans not "selling" their message well enough. This is what the Republican Philosophy actually IS. Yet, if you heard this from our President, and those running for office right now. The difference between Republicans and Democrats would be so obvious. AND.. I bet you couldn't WAIT to get to the polls!!! Instead, we sit back and listen to the news on TV and the Dem pundits rambling on and on about their fantasies; and take them at their word, as if it were reality--throw up our hands and say...it's over, we shouldn't even try. We've lost.

NO...We need to go on the offense, everyone. We need to be proud of what our Party Platform/Philosophy is.

Analogy: Being a good parent doesn't make you popular, but it's the right thing to be. If we looked at the World's problems and how America, under the Republicans, want to handle it....you can easily see the correlation between America as the Nanny, and the terrorists as the bratty children. Americans need only to watch an episode of Nanny 911 to realize what needs to be done in this World.

Okay...that's the end of my rant ;-)

1. Liberals believe everyone else should doubt their truths and embrace the lunacy of liberals.

2. Liberals believe everyone else should be tolerant and respectful of everything liberals want to do and say. Conversely, liberals believe they have a duty to be intolerant and disrespectful of everything a conservative wants to do or say.

3. Liberals believe they have a right and a responsibility to control public debate but everyone else should shut up, especially conservatives.

4. Liberals believe "we the people" refers only to them, and that government must treat liberals with that in mind.

5. Liberals believe government must respect and affirmatively safeguard their liberty while taking away the liberties of everyone else.

6. Liberals believe government has a fundamental responsibility to redistribute wealth, except their own if they happen to be a rich liberal.

7. Liberals hate God and want no mention of Him in the public sphere.

8. Liberals believe courts have a special responsibility to legislate from the bench to promote liberalism.

9. Liberals believe government must protect the safety and security of the people, for without such protection liberalism is impossible. An exception to this is when the people are conservatives. . .then the government has a duty to take away their safety and security.

10. Liberals believe government must protect the safety and security of the people unless the protection is being done by a Republican led administration. In that case, the liberals will whine that everything the administration does is unconstitutional.

You're on the right track Nord, but you really need to worry more about being an American than a Republican. Our government's most solemn duty is to secure the blessings of liberty for ourselves, and out posterity. You may or may not equate that with safety, but the two are not the same. The sad thing is, most Americans, and neither party seem to understand it.
