Algeria has a very huge Islamist problem.Not as huge a problem as it was. However the remnants of it's domestic terrorist group (can't remember it's "name" - goes by initials) has officially aligned itself with Al Queda recently.

I thought it was GAM (have no idea what that's about - makes me think of Ann Miller eating falafel), but it appears to be GIA.
