It's a perfect use of Federal authority. Physically threatening the President or calling for his harm is a Federal crime. "Kill Bush" is about as clear a call to harm as one can say. How would the Authorities know the kid was only 14 unless they investigated?

The girl committed a federal crime.

We have kids now going in a blowing each other to bits in the schools; how do we know this wouldn't happen to the President?

How do we know who/what her influences are? Sure some here dismiss it as MSM related, but what if her 'daddy' is actually planning to assinate the President. If not her 'daddy' maybe some of her friends etc.

I know the world has changed since I was a kid, but at 14 thinking about how to kill the President is serious stuff.

There is a violent streak in this chickie and more than the SS should be looking into the matter.

You must be kidding, right? The SSS investigating a posted threat on a website against the POTUS? That is a condemnable action? Please tell me your post was sarcasm.
