Yeah, I know. Chicken Noodle News has been aiding and abetting the enemy for years (along with most of the other MSM weenies), but the Wall Street Journal really caught them with their pants down this time.

And the network does not even seem to realize what a shocking admission this is.
Oh they know all right and get great pleasure in it

From the article:
"Tet ... was a military victory for the U.S. that turned into a propaganda victory for the communists because American journalists presented a false picture of what had happened."
THAT is the history repeating itself.

Mr Cooper;
Once again CNN's hypocrisy and transparent propagandizing is shown. A few days after 09-11 all the "News" media stopped showing the the images of the attacks because their "grief counselors" told them they were "too traumatic".
CNN has never showed the images of American civilians leaping to their deaths or their bodies laying smashed and burning on the ground from 9-11.
The same standards apply here but with their usual hypocrisy CNN simply lies to the American people about their inexcusable action.
The self righteous rationalizing and pompous spin will NOT give CNN plauseable deniabilty on this transparent act of political propaganda. You have forever raised doubts about CNN Journalistic credibility and intellectual honesty by this transparent act of pro Terrorist propagandizing.

Tet...was a military victory for the U.S. that turned into a propaganda victory for the communists because American journalists presented a false picture of what had happened. And today's MSM is working from the exact same playbook...including a few "conservatives" (are you listening, Jonah Goldberg?)

Didn't CNN admit in 2002 that it was allowed to broadcast from Iraq as long as it did not cross Saddam Hussein? Didn't they admit they were little more than broadcasters for Hussein?
To: Zakeet
Having been in Vietnam before, during and after Tet I can tell you many Americans serving there were intensely angry with those media and journalists who spun a big win by our side into a loss. The Vietcong were totally destroyed, for openers.
IMO CNN should be banned from Iraq. They and their kind are costing American lives.

Didn't CNN admit in 2002 that it was allowed to broadcast from Iraq as long as it did not cross Saddam Hussein? Possibly one of the worst examples of journalism bias in Iraq involved CNN and their ace reporter Peter Arnett. You may recall his stellar reporting of the bombed out "baby milk factory" among other fiascoes.
Things finally reached a climax with CNN and Arnett with Operation Tailwind, a completely bogus report wherein the US Army supposedly dumped sarin nerve gas on a group of US deserters in Laos in 1970.
Because of crap like that, I have blocked CNN out of the channel lineup for the past 10 years or so. And based on their latest crud, it looks like it will be another 40 to 50 years before I consider flipping to them even by accident.

Thanks and thank you for your service. I lost twenty-one of twenty-six close friends there, all hero's from my perspective. Their actions saved many lives
My thoughts and prayers go out daily to all those serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. God Bless them all.

Thank you for serving our country and Welcome Home, brothers. My time (63-67) was providing repair service to the fleet.
