If you like sexually transmitted diseases, shootings and high teen pregnancy rates, by all means, send your children to public schools. That's the word from a leader in the fast-growing movement within the 16 million-member Southern Baptist Convention for parents to pull their children from those schools in favor of homeschooling.

Pastor Wiley Drake

The program is called Exit Strategy and Pastor Wiley Drake, whose home state of California has done some things especially offensive to Christians this year, is a leading promoter.

In an interview with WND, he said that those problems and others are prevalent in public schools, and some Christian leaders even have said it could be considered child abuse just to register children in such a facility....

I'm well aware of the leaven. What you have yet to do is detail exactly what heresy these men are teaching. What are they preaching that is contradictory to scripture? If you can't give an exact answer then your statements are nothing more than opinion. I have never heard of these guys until your post so don't think I am trying to defend their position. You say they are unbiblical teachers, without clear examples of anti-Biblical teaching it sounds like gossip.

My apologies for not spelling their names correctly or providing samples of what I consider evidence of the creeping apostasy in the SBC.

There's more for one who is willing to look and test what is being presented. The theme is that of domesticating God to attract sinful men to what is called "church".

Oh, my goodness, that is a blast from the past. The current SBC leadership is utterly corrupt and moving the SBC slowly toward accommodating liberalism in the name of “evangelism”. Tellingly, even though government schools today are indisputably nothing more than child abuse centers and that fact is obvious to everyone, the SBC and it’s rotten leadership sound like Pontius Pilate discussing truth when they discuss education.
