Anytime we elect a conservative governor, the Phoenix 40 and the AZ People's Republic toss them out, as with Symington and Mecham.
Nappy was the US Attorney who persecuted Symington. Before that, she was one of the feminist kooks who tried to stop Clarence Thomas. She/he/it is a real winner.
But the press cries "moderate."

Did Symington do anything, other than be a fiscal conservative and lower taxes for five straight years, and fight for states' rights, to be persecuted for by the
AZ Democratic Republic? I always liked him.
