The trouble is, you and I see McCain as a national figure that we should get rid of, but if I remember right his numbers as a senator in Arizona are huge, sometimes we forget that a McCain or a Hillary can only be removed by their local voters, and in both cases the voters love them.
I'm not forgetting that. And in many cases, the voters that vote for the Maverick McCains and other RINOs are made up of a lot of ""moderate"" liberals. Liberals that applaud McCain when he bashes Bush and curse him when he agrees with Bush. But one sure fire go-by I've always had is....if the liberals love someone, they're NOT a Republican, much less a conservative.
