"The people carrying the guns obviously have nothing to worry about."

That's true. They always have something to fondle.

Why would anyone want to carry a legally concealed weapon into a Luby's or a McDonalds?

Because criminals attack people there too.
Luby's is one of the more notable crime scenes, where a maniac crashed his car thru the windows then went around systematically executing people; one person had dutifully left her handgun in the car, and was unable to stop the killer while he executed her parents.

I've never dealt with them, either. The idea was to get people to complain about the policy to the company in an effort to get them to change it.

In Florida, I have yet to see one of those 'no guns' signs. I carry and I look. Home Depot doesn't have them and I know their policy is against it becuase I worked there. Management may have decided that they prefer to have customers in the stores, instead of angry emails in their inboxes.

There have been so many private property owners sued for setting conditions on their own property, like not allowing guns...so go ahead, sue.

You deprive me of my Right to protect myself while in your store, you are responsible for any harm that befalls me. Your choice, your responsibility.

Don't want to bear the burden of the responsibility? Let your customers protect themselves, and your property as well in case you missed it.

It isn't about setting conditions, it's about self defense. Deprive someone of their self defense tools as a condition for doing business, you are saying their self defense is now YOUR responsibility since you were the one that took those tools away.

Of course, some of you will try and have it both ways. You want harmless patrons who should be willing to die to do business with you. What utter lunacy...

I agree. This isn't a government policy, it's a private business. He obviously didn't conceal too well. Every COSTCO, I have been to has a sign out front, he obviously didn't see one, and didn't conceal. Their policy is no guns, and he violated it. If he doesn't like this business, he can go to another. I actually don't care. Some people do. They are free to shop somewhere else. They can go to Sam's and get crappier meat and hold onto their guns while they are checking out the 24 roll pack of toilet paper. It's capitalism.
