The only financial figure I care about it this: I save about one third on the price of drug items, paper goods, meats, soft drinks, and the like over what I would pay at the supermarket.
There is always people who will see their souls and principle for money. Just like they sell their Freedom for a SS check or Medicare Check or Medicaid check. Some people refuse to do so.. Just shows where your principles come from, if you have any, and what they are worth to you. Apparently saving on a grocery bill in worth alot to some.
OK, that's your business and none of mine. OTOH, I happen to care if even a very small portion of my household budget goes to support traitorous Democrat candidates and anti-2nd Amendment organizations such as Sarah Brady's and the many others that are coming out of their rat holes again now that a Democrat controlled Congress appears to be a probability for the next 2 years. Costco's leftist management gives 99% of it's political donations to Democrats who support unconstitutional bans on firearms and many other infringements of my rights, not to mention abject capitulation to Islamic terrorism. I won't knowingly allow one red cent of my hard earned money go to support that agenda.
Anyway, I have seen first hand how few real savings are available at those membership discount barns and it isn't worth it to me. I don't shop at Sams or BJ's now either because they aren't any better on real, actual savings than Costco. But if saving a few nickel's here and there on Cokes and cough drops is that important to you go for it, it's your money.
