Tonight on Hannity and whats his name, Sean gave a short plug to Free Republic. He mentioned he and his "Freeper Friends" during a segment discussing the current election in Missouri. He had Pat Caddell on, a former Democrat pollster that is one of the few honest ones. Caddell is somewhat in the mold of Zell Miller and is the "honorable opposition." There is no place for Zell and Pat in the Democrat Party now.

The gist of it was they were blaming Free Republic for creating an atmosphere of hate that led to death threats. I answered by saying, "Don't lay that at our door" and spoke about the death threats that conservatives get on a regular basis and about the new Bush assassination film and the similarly themed books and plays, and Air America host who called for Bush's assassination. I asked where's the outrage for that.

a few minutes after the interview ended the producer came over to me with some bad news. The audio recording was blemished by static. She asked if I could do the interview over.

There was nothing wrong with the sound. It's an old trick in the business to say something went technically wrong to get someone to offer different answers than the ones which didn't go the way the reporter wanted the first time. Even if the questions are answered the same the second time, the burnish is off and it makes you look tired and pissed off rather than someone fresh and sharp.
