....or anyone who attempts to infringe upon the rights of law-abiding American citizens to keep and bear arms.
"We have to make these politicians, both Democrats and Republicans, understand that the gun lobby does not speak for the vast majority of Americans,..."
Correction. They do.
I keep having this great dream of liberal politicians and their henchmen showing up at my door for my guns..it ends very well.
'The Mayors Against Illegal Guns Coalition'
So the NRA supports illegal guns ? News to me, I didn't see that on my renewal application.
"The N.R.A. is just, plain and simple, out to stop anything..."
Huh? Like what? Besides the right to bear arms, I can't think of anything. This is like saying that the Sierra Club and AARP are only for environmental and senior issues respectively. Yeah right.
Yeah, we've all had that dream. .....and although the endings vary in the specifics, they all end well.
Lock and load!
Yes, because the NRA understands that the Constitution guarantees the right of citizens to bear arms, regardless of whether or not they like it.. How about these tyrants do something to get the CRIMINALS off of the streets of their cities rather than leave the law abiding citizens there defenseless? I truely loathe these scumbags.
It's one hallmark of an utterly incompetent mayor that he cannot find a way to curb crime in his city. It's one hallmark of the utterly dishonest politician to milk the disaffection of his constituents with phony non-solutions to generate a false enthusiasm for programs. And it's one hallmark of the utterly moronic to fall for such incompetence and dishonesty. P. T. Barnum could have taken lessons from Bloomberg in the art of the con.
Pity the poor New Yorkers under Bloomberg, but... they elected this fatuous, incompetent and dishonest suit. The worst part of this whole situation is that Bloomberg is actively seeking to export his brand of incompetence and dishonesty to other cities around the nation and inflict himself on the constituencies resident everywhere. Other mayors are, in this manner, acting in collusion to bring his idiot megalomania, which should be strictly a New York problem, to their own residents; that is truly inexcusable and should have voters around America as angry as hornets and the voters of New York wondering when this character will have the time truly to work on solving the city's problems when he's clearly so intent on meddling in the business of every city in the country.
gun lobby speaks for me...how about you guys?
And Bloomie really...I mean REALLY thinks he can get the GOP nomination in 08??
He's smoking the herb...that's what I think..
"And Bloomie really...I mean REALLY thinks he can get the GOP nomination in 08"?
"...Bloomie would be too much to stomach."
Yeah my standards are real low but not that low.
Bloomberg assails the NRA. A little old lady swinging her purse would leave a bigger mark.
Bloomberg supports illegal guns, not the NRA. He supports the laws that declares some guns "illegal" and he wants more of them. Well, the NRA supports some of the existing laws too, but doesn't want any more of them, so I guess there are a few illegal guns that they support. Really, only GOA and JPFO are entirely against illegal guns. The question to Bloomie is, if he opposes illegal guns, why does he want to make so many more of them at the stroke of a pen?
Where is the good old-fashioned police work that Guiliani emphasized that took the guns out of the baggy-pants wearing gangbangers?
This is a blame-Bush press conference, the mayors of these liberal hell-holes refuse to take responsibility themselves.
IIRC, he's considering a third party bid on http://www.unity08.com/
P.S. I'm a lifemember of what has been decried as America's most effective lobby.
And for me, with regard to my right to keep and bear arms.
