Romney unaccomplished? How would you justify that one? Considering he's Gov. in such a liberal state, he accomplished quite a bit, and beyond that, he's got an amazing record in Business.
If you don't think he's the right man for the job, fine, but I don't see how he's 'unaccomplished'.
Ah yes, I forgot this little quirk of yours. If people don't run for the offices you want them to, when you want them to, then they are automatically traitors and unworthy of ever supporting.
Nevermind my last question. I forgot how dumb you are on these things.
No. It won't. How ridiculous. Someone accuses you of something, and despite the fact that it is disproved... yet you insinuate that "it will cause problems."
Yuck.
Completely irrelevant. National stature ...and credibility as a leader...doesn't depend on these things anymore. Its ideas. And a great team.
So watch out.
You are aware of the pristine-high standard for Republicans running for office at any level, and the lack thereof for rodents. I'm not sure what you mean by that something was "disproved." It was a matter of record, and it surely will be an issue if he runs for President. To not expect that is rank naivete.
Preposterous, again. Of course it is relevant. House members aren't taken seriously for Presidential candidates, regardless of how you feel. Since 1964, only Governors or Vice-Presidents have been elected to the Presidency, even Senators are an iffy proposition, as only 3 (Benjamin Harrison, a former Senator; Warren Harding & JFK) have been elected (4, if you count Garfield as a Senator-elect) since after 1856. Not to say it is completely out of the realm of possibility, but Hunter's climb is very formidable, and history is certainly against him.
I would be surprised if Hunter actually did it. I know he's been trying to be a good incfluence on conservativism. He has attacked Republican betrayal of conservative principles, like supporting open borders and free trade.
If the GOP holds the House, he won't run. If the 'Rats win it, he might.
With Allen by all appearances out, Rep. Hunter may be the conservative's only choice in 2008.
