It's real. Rush just read parts of it during the opening of his show.
This is better than Kerry's original comments!

LOL. Amen to that.
The thing that gets me about Kerry is that he has the sheer audacity to go around telling people just how much smarter he is than the President, how had he been elected the the blind would see and the lame walk and NK would be nuke free and the ME returned to Garden of Eden status.
And then he pulls something like this and isn't the slightest bit embarrassed.
I'd give McCain some points for his statement, but frankly, Kerry makes it so damn easy!

"Kerry will apologize...."I thought so too, but post #35 is his official release. He's claiming that he's the victim.
Kerry is a low-life coward.

When you never work a day in your life because your wife supports you and your idea of fighting a war is parade around in a uniform and get a phoney purple heart for a hangnail, you're too superficial a person to know what's going on in the world.

Step back and let the Democrats get confidence and then they sometimes slip and say what the REALLY think. Very well said!
Also, Kerry and Murtha are like two peas in a pod.

Sure, the talk shows and Drudge are talking about it...but, I betcha it doesn't get 15 front page stories on the NYT or Wapo...like macaca or Foley.

Even more to the point, our military men and women, and our CIC, are serious people.
Unlike the Dem Party, and their propaganda machines.

For those who missed Tony Snow this morning at the press gaggle......one reporter said skerry's people tried to say skerry was referring to Bush's poor academic performance and that was how we landed in Iraq.
Listen for yourselves.
-so this is what skerry thinks of the Vietnam vets he left behind in Vietnam? ......and the rest of our military?

In the 1960's Lyndon Johnson had a program, part of The Great Society, that recruited men with low mental skills into the military to try to effect a poor man's upward mobility. Most of these troops did fine. Later, it seems, a lot of them got drafted anyway when the U.S. casualty count went up. Richard Nixon was elected in 1968 and he instituted the draft lottery, which took a lot of the uncertainty and anxiety out of the draft. Then he started the all-volunteer army which remains to this day.

"The media fawns over McCain. Mark my words, this will make the news now."
I hope so. I'd like to see if Mark Halperin at ABC does anything with this. He has publicly stated that the old media is slanted against Conservatives. He can promote his new book by airing this on the network.

Kerry's response will not solve his gaffe.
White House should let McCain take the lead on this, and McCain should fire back immediately.
If McCain wants to be president, there is no better way right now to improve his support with conservatives.

OMG, this statement came from a United States Senator?
God help us, the US is about to commit national suicide.
To: unbiasedtruth
That's right, Rush Limbaugh and President Bush made him do it!
When will the American people wake the hell up and kick these worthless little pieces of shit, Kerry, Kennedy, Pelosi, Reid, Durban, etc., and allow the real Americans to get on with doing the business of securing this Nation from the threats of terrorist. Kerry could not find his own ass with both hands behind his back, and now he is claiming that We are nothing more than poor uneducated, and stupid soldiers that cannot do anything else and so we go to Iraq.

I thought Lurch's response was satire. And today's winning post is:
This is Rove's REAL october suprise. Step back and let the Democrats get confidence and then they sometimes slip and say what the REALLY think.
