Kerry, there's just one word that needs to be said: "videotape". It ain't a "lie" if it's true.

Kerry must be reading Al Gore's book, "How To Become a Totally Irrelevant Defeated Former Presidential Candidate in Two Short Years."

"Bottom line, these Republicans want to debate straw men because they’re afraid to debate real men."

Dear J F'n K.

You are no real man. In fact, a straw man has more "wood" than you.

Sit down and shut up before you hurt yourself.

“If anyone thinks a veteran would criticize the more than 140,000 heroes serving in Iraq and not the president who got us stuck there, they're crazy.

Laughable coming from the man who without evidence, slandered all Vietnam veterans with claims of horrific acts and more recently said US servicemen shouldn't be terrorizing Iraqi women and children.

or doughy Rush Limbaugh, who no doubt today will take a break from belittling Michael J. Fox’s Parkinson’s disease

I don't accept this premise. Rush was very careful to not belittle his disease. BTW, Fox was involved in a partisan political fight advocating for a bill he has not read and for a big government, big tax, anti-freedom candidate. He should not be expecting any kind of pass at all.

AND, lest we forget, did you know he served in Viet Nam?

Did he get any medals?

I just heard a longer clip on Fox. I am recording it right now and waiting to get his live comments then I will post it in mp3 form. Can someone tell me where I can post it so that Freepers can hear it for themselves.

In the meantime a liberal was just on Fox and tried to defend Kerry by claiming that student loans have been cut. My understanding is that student loan funds were negotiated with, chiefly, Ted Kennedy (ouch!) and the argument by Kennedy was to lower interest rates or make payment terms over a longer period.

Either way we all know that when the student loan allocations go up suddenly tuition rates not only go up but exceed the difference prompting Dem claims for even more money. It's a pathetic but purposeful cycle that the Dems/Liberal College Administrators create.

Lastly: Even if this is on a negative note, Kerry is surely jazzed that he is at the top of the newsmakers for the moment. This presser's soundbites should fill out a few political ads in the next week and, should he decide to run again, the next two years. Not to mention the statements for his defense by fellow dems.

This presser is surely an political ad being made before our very eyes.

He's on now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When there is a video of the remarks,
and it shows the little smirk on his face after making such remarks; it is going to be verrrrrry dificult to "dance around the remarks!"

He's not apologizing. He's blaming Bush for his comments.

My favorite part is that even with a room full of dummies, there was hardly ANYONE who laughed or clapped at the stupidity of the remark....you coulda heard a pin drop, and in his face at that moment, you could see him crapping his bloomers.....

"I just read the thread from Tony Snow's White House briefing...and Kerry BLACKBERRIED a message to the ABC News reporter while the briefing was going on.....and said that Tony was NOT giving the right context to his remarks...

SOOOOOOOO...Kerry has a direct link to the WH ABC reporter chick to push HIS agenda on the "White House (BUSH)" Press Briefing!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

They are all part of the Democrat-Media-complex.

He's trying to squirm out of it, claiming his superiority and that he's being unfairly attacked by distortions (he's disgusted)....

The French Poodle still has the same contemptuous attitude towards our military servicemen that he did in 1971. All that's changed is the date. The difference is this time he is being held accountable.

“If anyone thinks a veteran would criticize the more than 140,000 heroes serving in Iraq and not the president who got us stuck there, they're crazy. This is the classic G.O.P. playbook. I’m sick and tired of these despicable Republican attacks that always seem to come from those who never can be found to serve in war, but love to attack those who did."

VIETNAM WAR VETERAN JOHN KERRY'S TESTIMONY BEFORE THE SENATE FOREIGN RELATIONS COMMITTEE, APRIL 22, 1971

"We who have come here to Washington have come here because we feel we have to be winter soldiers now. We could come back to this country; we could be quiet; we could hold our silence; we could not tell what went on in Vietnam, but we feel because of what threatens this country, the fact that the crimes threaten it, not reds, and not redcoats but the crimes which we are committing that threaten it, that we have to speak out."
