Seriously, I think John McCain may have just won the 2008 Republican nomination. I can't stand him, but he is the only Republican that is completely untouchable on military issues.

but he is the only Republican that is completely untouchable on military issues. Only? Congressman Duncan Hunter just announced his intention to explore a 2008 run. He served in Vietnam in the 173rd Airborne and the 75th Army Rangers., his name-sake son, a Marine, first served in Iraq in 2003.
