I think if Kerry would have just apologized today this would have blown over by dinnertime. Instead he dug his heels in and very likely severely pissed off at least 1/2 of the country.
Savage is right - anybody wanting to sit this one out or playing fantasy games about 'lose in 2006, win in 2008' just got slapped across the face and reminded that these jackasses are horrible.

I know exactly what he meant and he is 100% wrong. I have almost been run off of some boards here for my full throated disapproval of some members of the GOP, including President Bush during the Harriet Miers debacle.
But it is typical of Savage fans and Democrats to attack people who disagree with them rather than defend their positions.
