ain't it the truth...I noticed that too...and when you hear him on the audio, it's so respectful and businesslike. He truly understands that the job is NOT about him, it's about the responsibility of the man who inhabits the office at this time. And he is already thinking about what kind of precedents he will leave for his successor.
What a guy. I am so proud of this president. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't thank the guy upstairs that GWB was president when 9/11 happened, instead of his predecessor.

RL: "Yeah, and then they turn around and get insulted routinely. John Kerry is not the first. He's just the latest
We've got Senator Durbin who has impugned interrogators
Democrats have done their best to impugn the people who are volunteering, offering their lives in sacrifice to defend this country. They have questioned their motives. They've questioned their backgrounds and so forth"
GWB: "Anybody who is in a position to serve this country ought to understand the consequences of words"
Direct hit!

Not only is Kerry a snob, he's also not to bright either, even though he went to Yale

".. a freedom movement, which will help create the conditions so that the extremists become marginalized and unable to recruit. RUSH: Well, that is extremely visionary."
Visionary in foreign affairs perhaps, but reminds me, being old enough, of the course of the Civil Rights movement in this country.

I guess the interview must have been on during the Press Briefings with Tony Snow. I had finally been able to watch the briefings life on C-SPAND and when they were over I turned Rush on and he was saying that the transcript and the audio was on his site

BUMP!
RUSH: Mr. President, we have to let you go, but before I do so I have to share something with you. When I announced yesterday when the schedule was firmed up that I'd be talking to you today, I got tremendous -- I would say inundated -- with e-mails from people asking me to tell you that they're praying for you.
To: Kaslin
THANK YOU for posting this interview! :-) (I was hoping someone would post it -- so people could have time to digest the contents of the interview before the Nov 7 election.)
Again, thanks,
And FReegards,

So glad that Rush brought up how North Korea blinked. That story was 24/7 until that moment--then, when Bush was proved right, it just VANISHED.

Great interview! The Left doesn't understand why the President doesn't sound DOOMED. After all, the polls say he will LOSE! What in the world is going on??? The man ought to be desperate and suicidal. Instead, he's sunny and confident. The President must know something the Drive Bys and the MSM don't.
