Yes, the Democrats prefer the vague insinuation that "Camelot" was some kind of historical high point to the clear focus on what Kennedy actually said and did, because of the not unfounded fear that, if they were alive today, Jack and Jackie-O would dash--not amble--to the sanity of the Republican Party.
