These paid political advertisements provided by the Alcohol-Marijuana Equalization Initiative
Committee, SAFER Colorado, show President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney. The group that got a
referendum on the state ballot legalizing marijuana ran ads in newspapers Saturday, Nov. 4,
2006 targeting President Bush for allegedly challenging his father to fight while drunk and Cheney
for allegedly shooting a friend after drinking. (AP Photo/Alcohol-Marijuana Equalization Initiative Committee)
The AP and Yahoo were not paid to run these ads as news, it's a public service, I guess.
My God! Unngh.....
So then someone could use these with Teddy's face and fill in the blanks as well.............
So where is the one with Kennedy killed a girl while he was drunk?
Well that's just stupid. So a couple of bong hits and he would have missed?
Was channel surfing and Tucker Carlson';s head is spinning faster than Linda Blair's in the movie "The Exorcist".
The drive by media knows they are up a creek without a paddle.
Depends on who he shot in the face, maybe it was Osama Bin Laden!
AP and Yahoo,...I still don't care. This last minute trashing makes it look worse for you guys, not better.
I think most people are onto their loser tricks by now. SLIMIN' PIGS!!
Nice try, AP.
You'd have to be stoned to run ad's like this..... Oh, nevermind...
Alcohol gets you drunk so legalize marijuana
"Well that's just stupid."
No kidding. Pot leaves in their ads. Ohhh, that'll get voters on their side.
My guess is that the people who put it up are not associated with AP, and are simply misusing the name. How do you report this to AP, I wonder?
All this will do is motivate the stereotypes of the "GIT'R DUN!!!" crowd to go out and vote for Bush and Cheney (and once they discover those guys aren't on the ballot, they'll go back home) - and everyone else will just ignore the ad.
Well that's the point. All they had to do was spend a couple hundred bucks to get their stupid ad printed in some rinky dink local, then the AP (for free) sends it all over the globe, ostensibly as "news."
I remember when FreeRepublic placed an ad in the Washington Times urging the Senate to convict Clinton on the day before the impeachment vote. AP, for some reason, declined to broadcast our sentiments any further.
Need to have a series of these posted - 1 each with all the members of the "Kennedy Clan".
Such crap.
My my. The dems are getting desperate! LOL!
