Had the Republican party listened to most of America and truly addressed the issue of illegal immigration instead

Will you all SHUT UP about that? Not ONE vote that matters hinged on that this year; it's not even on the RADAR in things people are concerned about.

I don't know who the hell you think you are. No, I am not going to shut up.

I've lived in the state of Virginia for almost 12 years now, and I've seen the gradual progression of the change that has been taking place over the last several years from used to be Republican lock to what is now almost a tossup.

I'm telling you right now, if the state of Virginia has several more years of the immigration levels that we've had for the last several years, we are going to end up becoming permanently Democrat. If you don't like hearing that, that's too darn bad, but it's the truth. I hope the Republicans will listen before it's too late.

...it's not even on the RADAR in things people are concerned about.

But then we knew that all along as we watched the "real conservatives" use it to beat, divide and demoralize the right, didn't we?

You must have missed the 3 Arizona immigration propositions that passed by over 71% each!
