Perhaps the strategy was to let the dems take the house, and split the Senate, so that after two years the people will be calling for anyone but Democrats to lead?

I don't know ... what I do know is that ANYTHING lead by Demoncrats sets us back and endangers our country - literally from ANY perspective.
