Should have happened after the election in 2004 and we would be in better shape in Iraq.

Yeah, Rush stopped in mid-sentence... seemed to be kind of shell-shocked.

I don't know if this would have helped, the election could have been a disaster if the conservatives all abandoned the republicans because of Bush throwing off Rumsfeld. And I doubt many people would have taken Rumsfeld's resignation as a sign they should vote for republicans.

Don't speak sense to me, while I am busy running around worrying about the sky falling. But seriously, that makes sense. :)

We'll recover. Always have. The Democrats are now put on notice.

It was the exit polls. I was handing out Bonilla flyers and an exit poller was there. Almost everyone polled said their vote was about Iraq.

And you think the Dems will pay for it when the Repubs would not?

We'll be very lucky now if Baghdad doesn't wind up looking like Saigon in 1975.

Bush and the Pentagon have continuously acted as though they had an infinite amount of time to finish Iraq; well, the 4th quarter just started, and Bush better start pushing for some results, because his dilatory prosecution of the war is heading towards disaster.

Gates. Don't know anything about him. Wonder what he'll want to do in Iraq.

Yeah, now it's a bloodbath. I disagreed earlier with that assessment, but it's spot on now.

I'm not trying to sound like some nut, but I did tell my parents I think they should retire from NYC.

I've always felt it's going to get hit again, and right now I really don't like the odds. The terrorists are now emboldened, and next time it will be worse.

Another victory for the socialist-democratic terrorist sympathizers? Makes one wonder if we still are winning the war.

Lord, be merciful to our nation, for we have sinned greatly.
