But I can't buy stuff online from Walmart, knowing that 5% of what I pay them is being sent to a group advocating things I think will harm society.

I don't believe that WalMart is giving 5% of every dollar in revenue to any homosexual group. They might be giving some, but not this much. Not sure where that figure came from and how they proved it to be true.

I don't either but that's not how I read the article. From the article, I believe Walmart is taking 5% of sales that come from the gay website (via links) and donating it to the gay organization.

I have to find out. Sometimes AFA gets things wrong, but often they are right and it turns out to be some regional thing that the head of the company doesn't know about, and the AFA action reverses the decision.
