Don't mind Charlie, folks. He's just showing his lack of class and national spirit.
Two of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at were in Meridian, MS (an excellent German restaurant) and Oxford, MS (a very fine French/Continental place called The Grocery). Friendly people, no crime, a few tornados now and then, but one of the best places to visit, for an inexpensive vacation, in the US.
