That's a tall order. I think we only get a Reagan every hundred years or so, unfortunately. But you're right: We should certainly insist that the next one be MUCH closer to that ideal!

It took a long time and a lot of hard political work to put together the Reagan coalition. But we could sure use him now...

Can't be done. As Prime Choice said in another thread yesterday, There won't be another Reagan just as there won't be another Washington.

But we can make sure the next Prez is a person who idolizes Reagan and tries to emulate his policies. That will be enough.
