Harman

Harman? I thought she was a moderate Democrat which was why they want to throw her under the bus. Is she in trouble with the law? I don't hear anything about this.

Russert asking McCain about Kerry troop gaff, and McCain denouncing military. Russert asks if he really thought Kerry was doing anything more than botching a joke. McCain implies that's not the point - that Kerry should apologized.

Wow! Now there's some objective and intelligent guests whose opinions I can't wait to hear and take to heart.

You were expecting NBC/MSNBC/CNBC to be onjective?

Who was press sec. before Tony Snow? The ineffectual Scott McCellan. For over two years he left the msm run every press conference, he was never able to effectivly get any good or important Bush news out by being Mr. Nice Guy. Tony Snow is superb but was given the position too late to be effective in this election. So Freepers, as the old song goes,'Pick yourself up, brush yourself off, and start all over again'!

Might be, but it feels more like a political choice; I wonder if any of this would have been announced if the election had turned out differently, or just put away as a contigency plan.

Regarding your 21, I'm in total agreement, but there is something else I wish I could explain. Here in Texas, all the major newspapers are liberal, we receive the same TV/radio news as the rest of the country, and we're a conservative state, except for little enclaves here and there. Any theories???

"The same Madrassa media started their campaign against Tom Delay, the day he was elected as majority leader. Now, Harry Reid has far more serious ethical problems as does Mollahan, Menendez, Jefferson & Harman and suddenly is ok for them that they won't care."

And this morning on FOX we learned that Harry Reid is really pro-life and also for gun rights! We also learned that Nancy is really a "Centrist". Don't you love learning something new every day?

Russert asks if McCain will push a vote on an Office of Public Integrity or other office. He said he hopes they will pursue, along with lobby reform.

I think media can invite whoever they want. I can't understand how we complain all the time with no results. Why have we not started a conservative tv program. Every week we say the same thing and nothing changes. I certainly don't believe that they should be forced to put Republicans on the show if they don't want too. We will never learn this. We have been complaining about this for years with no changes.

I got eyeballs and hey, even ears. He came off as lame, mocking (Fox)and even a bit cruel.

He did nothing of the kind. You've been suckered by the drive-bys.

Instead of standing with our moderate/conservative coalition, everyone went off on a tangent.

As for me.....four words.....THE BRIDGE TO NOWHERE! This, IMHO, was plain evidence of the GOP abandoning its root values.

After many years on talk radio I suspect differently.<p.

It's usually a mistake to go after a popular celeb with an incurable disease--even if he is wrong--only days before a major election.I could be wrong, but even McCaskill credits Rush with her victory.(not that she has any credibility)

Bottom line I would rather Rush had talked about falling gas prices lower unemployment, all the good things that were ignored by the msm-- all the lies and spins of the DBM on major issues especially in Iraq for the last few days instead of burning so much time on stem cell.
Just my opinion.

Ata Go Fishtalk. How else will we get the party back to a conservative agenda?

The Gang of 14 and their running dogs have to go.

McCain now expounding on why Republicans lost.

I missed him. Did McCain include the Gang of 14 on his list?

I am going to be a drive by freeper today, but you are right. There are many reasons why the Dirty Dems took back Power, and I am absolutely sure that it will be only two years, and they will be on the outside looking in again with their minions in suicide mode. The single defining issue was John McCain's treacherous Power Grab, Campaign Finance Reform. This stupid bill tied the hands of the Republican Party and most of their backers because they are not law breakers. George Soros and Move on.org,and other radical groups with money have been sneaking around these laws and in many cases violating them without punishment, because this is what Democrats do, and no Democrat official is going to be honest enough to prosecute the law violators. They even laughed about how the GOP obeyed the law and was at a disadvantage. There were many other reasons, but the McCain betrayal allowed one of the other reasons to take place which Rush Limbaugh and others warned about numerous times. The DBM had the last 2 months almost by themselves to broadcast their Anti-American filth that they dared to call news. They are not going down fast enough as this election proved. Let us make their slide like an Olympic Bobsled Performance. Let's roll folks!!!!!!!!!

The same Madrassa media started their campaign against Tom Delay, the day he was elected as majority leader. Now, Harry Reid has far more serious ethical problems as does Mollahan, Menendez, Jefferson & Harman and suddenly is ok for them that they won't care.

I would bet my next two months paychecks, that Dingy Harry would be investigated if he had an (R) behind his name instead of a (D). This was an excellent opportunity to expose the obvious and blatant bias of the DBM, but not one Republican candidate took advantage of it during the campaign. I can see Russert asking Dingy. "Did you have an illegal land deal several months ago?" NOT!

I've seen several mentions of the democrats wanting to bring back the "Fairness Doctrine". If that's the case, will that include the DBM and give us a chance to question their reporting? I doubt that will ever happen.

"The loss of Allen & Santorum is one helluva tragedy."

I so agree - I'm just sick about both of them losing. Something that might be a somewhat bright spot in this heartbreak is that from what I've read about Webb, he does have some conservative leanings and is pro-military AND he's a bit of a maverick and can fly off easily - -Dingy Harry may have a difficult time keeping him under his thumb.
