You're right of course. Yet the voting patterns need to be looked at more closely.

Why is it all the propositions and measures re: gay marriage, immigration etc. passed swimmingly? It's more than the left running to the center, the people are dumb... but not that dumb (with the exception on 2 in Missouri).

Question, with all the fraud we saw in states before the elections (ACORN, etc), why wasn't more races challenged/investigated? We knew about the goings on in Philly 7 in the morning... and were told there wasn't a RNC lawyer there, they were trying to get one to go. And Ohio and Missouri? Please.

At my poll, which was practically empty... two illegals tried to vote (no lie), and were turned away... 8 a.m..
A group of heavy women with short spiked hair in comfortable shoes with lib buttons also came in to vote... trust me, I do a lot of things in the district... they weren't from here. Not denial... facts.

It's almost like a giveaway to advance certain issues as well (where'd I put that tinfoil hat).

I want to see balls from our guys on the hill... and the women too.

I plan on jamming up a lot of emails and faxes.
If their mothers even use aluminum foil on holiday break... email; If their dads raise a pinky while drinking at the bar... fax. /s

May I also suggest some thought into a counter dem revolution by collecting dem quotes and a list of republican officials for rebuttal. Or better, doing that in reverse.

Needs more thought, but let's consider some research and development of our own media, enlarge our tent, AND pound the MSM tent.

My guess is that LIEberman is going to be a thorn in the dems side, every single day! LOL. No doubt they hate the site of him, standing there with that whiny voice being all smug.

Yes, I read that. So much for wanting to get along, eh?
She was just being interviewed by Wolfie - couldn't stomach it - had to switch. I know I'm going to have to eventually listen to her, Dingy Harry, Leaky Leahy, Plugs Biden, etc., but I need a little more time, and possibly a little later in the day so I can have a glass of wine to calm me down ;-)

Even given that I would not have been able to bring myself to vote for Liebreman.

Lieberman told Tim Russert that he is an "Independent Democrat." Russert asked him if he'd ever consider caucusing with the Republicans, and Lieberman said: "I'm not ruling it out, but I hope I don't get to that point."

I am also not buying this Madrassa Media spin below:

Hayworth was still the national poster boy for the border issue. Other issues were at play certainly, but if shutting down the border were the preferred position, he should have won in a landslide.

The fact that his opponent favored comprehensive reform is quite telling. However, support for any Dem congressman regardless of his particular stand, was a vote for opening the borders.

I guess a lot of folks refused to realize that.

Okay, let me get this one final thing off my chest (size 38C). It's that little matter of the Iraq war. It's high time this America nation sit down and talk the concept of war over. I am still not in favor in anyway of pulling our troops out of Iraq and think the decision to invade was a good one. That being said, I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that America simply has no stomach for a long drawn out war. Sure the notion of bringing democracy to the Middle East is a good thing but it simply takes too damn long. Not to mention the poohbahs in Iran, Egypt and Saudi Arabia have so much money to spend, all from oil that WE consume (not that the Repubs couldn't have pushed drilling in ANWR at the very least but mine own so-called Republican congress critter, Mike Castle of the Main Street Republicans voted AGAINST this), and can send so-called "insurgents" into Iraq endlessly by promising them money to blow themselves up, ad nauseum. Thus the American Army becomes a freaking police force and it goes on and on.

The reality is that America functions best when at war when it, BOOM, drops a big bomb right in the middle of things and after getting everyone's attention, then goes in to straighten things out.

Vietnam, even Korea, and now Iraq, are all examples where the concept of "humane" war simply does not work.

Sure, it takes a big pair of gonads to order thousands of people dead but I truly think that to embark upon a prolonged but politically correct war simply does not work for America. Remember Japan. Hey, it didn't take that damn long to set that country on the right track.

A prolonged war allows the opposition party to carp and nag that THEY get the power. Then the party in power starts to apologize and back down and through it all the truth and goal somehow gets lost. Meanwhile our troops are out fighting the good fight and being picked off by rabble recruited by Arab poobahs who don't want their good thing put down by America.

Hey, I don't have the answers, seriously I don't. Let's just say that I'm beginning to think that the concept of a prolonged but "nice" war just does not work for this country.

We need to talk about it.

..If Rush Limbaugh wasn't a powerful force on the right, why, do tell, do you think the MSM spends so much time and energy dissing him and his opinions? ..

Back in the day, when he first came on the air, he was a powerful force for conservatism. He provided news and opinions for a lot of us that could not be gotten any other way, and has enjoyed great personal success because of it.

Whether fame and fortune have changed him, or other events in his life of which we know nothing, now he is different.

I believe he has become genuinely arrogant. How else to explain the stupid mess he got into as an ESPN commentator? Not only did he make statements that anyone could predict would be twisted into racism, his non-apologetic attempts to smooth it over only managed to reinforce the idea in the mind of many that conservatives are racists.

The Michael J. Fox thing is just a replay. Except in this case, he was reinforcing the idea that conservatives are heartless philistines, mocking people with terrible disabilities.

I am beginning to see him as a kind of Newt Gingritch-like character; doing ok as a struggling underdog, but clueless about how to handle real power.

Anyway, the media talks about him now because he is well-known (to all that don't listen to his show) as a heartless, racist, homophobe, and they can link that persona to all conservatives, smearing all of us.

And now, after all the exclusive interviews with Cheney, Rumsfeld and others, now he feels 'liberated' to start kicking them while they're down? The hell with him.

Did you say New Jersey...? This just in.....

Menendez investigation expands

Authorities have stepped up an investigation of U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez's relationship with a federally funded nonprofit organization just days after his hard-fought election victory, according to a senior government official. The official said FBI agents served subpoenas Thursday and Friday seeking information related to the North Hudson Community Action Corp., which paid more than $300,000 over nine years to rent a Union City building from then-Rep. Menendez.

A.Babs-

Love what your doing, but preaching to the choir only goes so far. If you think that sending notices to the corrupt talking lib-heads is going to shame them into being fair, you're in for a bummer. The reason they have their shows is that they are what they are.
But I've been reading that this election was really decided by the independent vote. And if that's true, which I think it is, then they are the people we need to reach.

And if you see that's true, also, then why bother to send notices to the talking heads? Why not paste together a summation, clear, and as concise as possible, on each of the most egregious talking head examples, and fire them off to a whole list of newspapers and websites, ones that the independents might see? Could something like this be done? Could each thrumpmail have a different set of senders (from this post?)so that they won't be easily sloughed off as always coming from the same source?
Just my thoughts. I don't really mean to say that "preaching to the choir" isn't valuable- it obviously helps to share info, clarify points and get direction. But to get change ... I dunno.

Russert asks if will be awkward for Lieberman given that so many Senators campaigned for Lamont? Lieberman says a little...

Lieberman has made a point of the difference between them campaigning for the Democrat nominee, which he understands, and participating in personal attacks on him, which he says he won't forget.  I'm going to try to go back and find some references to Dhimmicrats who dissed Joe.  That could get interesting.
