A columnist in a local paper was dismayed that a county south of us voted Repub for several offices. He made the accusation that they must have voted straight party line, and that they would have voted for Hitler or Mark Foley if they were on the ballot. I started working on a reply to this "columnist"...
Just now on Fox, back to back, they had a liberal explaining how conservative Pelosi, Ried and Rangel really are.
Their intro for the next guest was a report that even though the left ran on a platform of
"BRING THE TROOPS HOME !",the voters who allowed them to take control didn't necessarily want
the troops withdrawn soon.
The next guest, a Liberal professor who, now that his side is in control, is explaining to us dumb Americans that if we pull out, Israel will be surrounded and eaten up by those terrible freedom fighters....sorry, ..."Terrorists".
Fox News staged this entire segment.
I have heard that same whine from others in the media. Suddenly straight party line voting is un-American if it's for republicans???????????????
Gee, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Get a petition signed DEMANDING an apology that is prominently placed in the newspaper, or let them know you and group of angry "Hitler" Republicans will be hounding any company that advertises in that pathetic paper to withdraw their advertising dollars.
So what if they did vote straight party line what is the problem if that is their party - media infuriate me with comments like that.
To me when someone votes that way it show commitment to their course. Personally I would have to have a very strong reason for not voting that way and as yet have never had one.
"they would have voted for hitler or mark foley...."
your fine-feathered friend discounts the millions of dead humans throughout the world who were the victims of his socialist philosophy. he sounds like a smug self-described brilliant intellectual who looks down on us chickens.
...."straight line without thinking indeed".......he seems to have fallen for the liberal line blindly and without thinking....in other words, IMHO, he is a hard-core, incorrigible communist who insists on esperimenting once again.
(do you think they'll have enough room for the bodies this time?)
