What Rush did in this state was give publicity to what was at stake, people putting their faith in government to SAVE them.

Very True, dems used this minimum wage referendum on ballot at 8 states, which was used to contrast & challenge our marriage amendment to their advantage. In many places, the union votes made the difference.
As for Rush, I think he was a resident of Missouri which Bill Bennett mentioned.
