Look, Libertarians are terrific folks, good and decent people. I know a lot of them, but they don't fully understand the power and influence of the "big guy" on the block and don't see the need for government protections against his power and his greed. Would that the world could be as they see it! But, it isn't. Period.

Perhaps what they understand is that if you're always giving government the power and the mandate to protect us from the power and influence of the "big guy," government itself becomes the "big guy." Perhaps if they're going to get screwed thay'd rather it be by a corrupt, greedy corporation than a corrupt, greedy government.
