I read the linked article, and it is blatant propaganda for our flawed 2 party system.
"In this process of assimilation, third party movements are obliged to compromise their more radical views if they hope to attain any of their more generally acceptable objectives. Thus we end up with two large, pragmatic political parties which tend to the center of public opinion rather than dozens of smaller political parties catering to divergent and sometimes extremist views."

This man's reasons for keeping it are the same reasons I have for abolishing it, it's unfair, perpetually keeps 2 parties and subverts the will of the people. Gore may have won the popular vote in 2000 and the electoral college saved Bush's bacon, but it is unwise to keep a flawed system because it favored us in a past temporary circumstance.

You are not going to change our "flawed system" or be happy with it - you and Hillary both hate the electoral college
