Dane, sitting on the East Coast, is determined to make out the AZ election loss for JD related to immigration. It wasn't. It was his district being so heavily ASU and the students really went all out this election to defeat JD.<

Then answer me this Carolyn, why did Hayworth with 60% of the vote in the last midterm in 2002. He had the same district, and the vote totals are appx. the same.

Sorry Carolyn there was no "surge" by ASU students. The surge was against J.D. Hayworth by reliable tax paying voters.

I already told you, Dane... the dems hung Jack Abramhoff and that scandal around his neck in a nice neat bowtie.. also that he arranged for his wife to get a $100,000 lobby bonus and then there was the constant I'm going to die because JD voted against stem cells ad that Mo. Udalls granddaughter ran against him... Two years ago there was nary an ad against JD, this time was different, very different because he had a very popular (in Tempe) candidate running against him and he had baggage he didn't have two years ago... also the State of Arizona is growing by leaps and bounds, libs moving here from California -- East Coast, MidWest all bringing their liberal voting patterns with them, and yes, ASU did figure into the equation this time.. and no, illegal immigration did not... as much as you wish to make it so, it did not.
