This is hearsay reporting at best, irresponsible and dangerous at worst. E-mails – one or two times removed should be sat upon to avoid unnecessary speculation and possible undue alarm among families who have service men and women serving in Iraq. A true “FReeper Exclusive” should be an eye-witness account – not some e-mail...

My thoughts as well. Several factors involved, but I do not buy it as of yet.

It is an eye witness account, told through 2 person, admittedly, but from the source who got it first hand

You are correct, however email is now accepted in court from what I have heard. If you sent an email containing a terrorist threat, you are just as libel as making the terrorist threat in person, for example. But we definitely need confirmation. Perhaps we should probably look for confirmation in the Iraqi media. Sounds like a lot of Iraqi's were injured.

Someday you should hope to have the credibilty of RaceBannon here.

If "he" felt the report was credible enough to post here, especially in "Breaking News", that's good enough for me.

Well stated and until collaborated by more sources than one E-mail twice removed it might better be considered "Breaking Rumor."
