"House Speaker-designate Nancy Pelosi, D-California, said Tuesday she feels "sad" President Bush blamed insurgent violence on al Qaeda. "

Perhaps Nancy's understanding of al Qaeda in Iraq is sad:

Al-Qaeda controls western Iraq: US intelligence report Washington Post and AFP, November 28 2006
Oman accuses US of handing Iraq to Al-Qaeda - Middle East Online, November 21 2006
Al Qaeda Claims to Have 12,000 Fighters in Iraq - Fox News, November 10 2006

Or perhaps Nancy and al-Queda simply share the same sad understanding:

'Iraq al-Qaeda' welcomes defeat of Republicans in the US mid-term polls - BBC, November 10 2006
Al Qaeda gloats over U.S. election Washington Times, November 6 2006

I voted for the sob thinking he was a moderate Southern. He is a Jew-hating embarassment to the South.

Pelosi says that the 9-11 Commission report spoke about the insurgents in Iraq? I thought that the 9-11 Commission report was about, umm, 9-11-2001.

Her repeated face lifts have not just stretched her skin, they've squoze her brain, so it doesn't work at all now.

I remember those sweaters! And the no Christmas lights! And the freezing office in winter! And the gas lines! And no Olympics to teach the Russians a lesson! And his stabbing the Shah in the back! And the hostages! And the pardoning of the draft-dodgers! And his odious daughter Amy! And 18% mortgages! And his teetotaling state dinners while he had a cocktail upstairs! And giving away the Panama Canal!

I have said it before and I will say it again: the Carter years were like dog years: each one seemed like seven!

What does the 9/11 report have to do with the current Iraq situation? Even if one believes Al Qaeda wasn't in Iraq before 9/11 (not the case) but even if that was so that does not address whether Al Qaeda is in Iraq now.

Someone in the RNC should blast Pelosi's ignorance about what the 9/11 report was talking about. It was dealing with Al Qaeda prior to 9/11 not now. What a stupid statement for her to make and what an opening.

I think the 911 comission is very dated. Obvioulsy AlQueda has read it too. Move on.

Irrelevant to what is happening in Iraq. What bothers me is that Pelosi didn't understand the question she was asked.

the more she opens her mouth the more I want to sneak up behind her and scream "Boo!" just to watch her facelift roll up like a cheap window shade.

After thousands of Al Qaeda have been killed in Iraq, she is trying to tell us that there are no AQ there. What planet is she on?!

"House Speaker-elect Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told reporters on Wednesday that she feels it is "sad" that President Bush continues to blame Iraqi insurgent violence on al Qaeda.

"My thoughts on the president's representations are well-known," Pelosi said. "The 9/11 Commission dismissed that notion a long time ago and I feel sad that the president is resorting to it again."

It's just going to be a more sophisticated bribe taker. Alcee might have been the better choice. But I forgot, gee, this is the Beltway. There is no hard bottom to bouce a coin off of -- it's a deep well of greasifying.

LOL. She got this one wrong and was back peddling later today.

After her handlers picked themselves off the floor, they have been back peddling and spinning like mad.

Nancy did GOOOD today when she bounced that nasty Alce Hastings off the Inteligence committee.

As Michelle Malkin said "A friendly woman-to-woman tip to Nancy Pelosi: To clean a house, you take the garbage out, not in."

Maybe it will cheer her up now that the U.N. council extends Iraqi troop mandate

Will they dare defy the great abd glorious Useless nations Security Council to bring a rapid withdrawal of troops out of Iraq before they are allowed to finish?

I guess this is the PC way of saying "I'm pissed".

What a mealymouthed bunch.

Just a couple days ago there was some liberal publication that said that the Western Part of Iraq is filled with Al-Qaeda. These idiot libs can't have it both ways, either they're there or they're not.
