House Speaker-designate Nancy Pelosi, D-California, said Tuesday she feels "sad" President Bush blamed insurgent violence on al Qaeda.
"My thoughts on the president's representations are well-known," Pelosi told reporters while meeting with Deputy Italian Minister Francesco Rutelli. "The 9/11 Commission dismissed that notion a long time ago and I feel sad that the president is resorting to it again."

Pelosi did not answer the question the reporter asked. She dropped the ball and gave a Dem talking point--all she is capable of doing.
Must she always have that "deer caught in the headlights expression?" I think it is a holdover from her days of being/acting the wide-eyed debutante ingenue.
Pray for our country! We are in big trouble.

Ah NO Ms Nasty, the 09-11 Commission made no such claim. They said there were NO provable links between Saddam and the 09-11 attacks. That is a completely different thing then what she claimed

Mo1....I was thinking earlier, about the panel on Brit's show..and how Mara and Mort were making excuses FOR Nancy Pelosi...yes, Mara mused that "when Bush makes a mistake, he's said to have 'mispoke', so we should say that Pelosi 'mispoke'" - but actually when Bush makes a mistake he's been described as being "incompetent" and "braindead" by the likes of Pelosi, and in fact that is a good description of Pelosi herself......

Madam Polosi described President Bush as wrong about al Qaeda active in Iraq with her thinking that the 9/11 Commission proved that al Qaeda was not involved in Iraq. This shows her ignorance of the facts. The 9/11 Commission did claim there was no al Qaeda connection with Saddam Hussein. However Polosi is mistaken because, as for the current activities by the al Qaeda in Iraq, there is support of fact that they are involved in activities to destabilize Iraq.
Please tell me we do not have this bone head as the new speaker of the House.

Troll. Obvious one, too.
Again, we have to get on the same shift. I just woke up!

Is this woman on crack?
No, she's just a Democrat.
...although some experts say that the origin of the word "Democrat" was a Ancient Greek expression that roughly translates as "dame on crack".

A national leader should not be 'feeling sad' about international diplomacy. It's not a kitten in a tree.
