I prefer to leave the field wide open for now, to encourage real conservative to throw their hat into the ring. Why line up behind a phony RINO early? Serves the media and the left, not conservatives.

*************

Fine. But how does knifing Mitt in the back with this piece square with that seemingly noble statement?

Anyone who takes part in the mudslinging attacks of the media on Republicans is at best working against their own self-interest.

If large numbers of the "base" line up early behind RINO Romney then other candidates won't test the waters.

Look, I'm already getting phone polls and mail questionaires on possible 2008 candidates. I will not encourage support of Romney or McCain.

As far as I'm concerned the media is helping me prevent the nomination of a milktoast RINO. I want the RINO's out of power at the precinct, county, state and national level.

The time for bloodletting is now. Mitt is a fake that says what will please his listeners. He is a neutically enhanced poser who will NOT fight for conservative principles. We don't need him and we should show him the road now, because he will let the barbarians into the castle if he's put in charge of the gate.
