This is from the post I was responding to. He/she said that it was tempting to think of them that way. I of course do not, as you see by my post.
I am seriously starting to wonder what the charge would be if a nice mommy living in this area were caught carrying. How bad would it be? I am a mother bear when it comes to my kids.
Of course, anyone who goes around in throngs beating up innocent kids actually IS a low life savage, doesn't matter what nationality...
I don't think there should be a category of hate crime either. But I sure don't think there should be one only for crimes committed by one kind of person, and all others are protected.
My main fear if we sit down and let this go on is that we will create a permanent criminal class. I feel the emperor might just be naked, and we'd better start telling people because the MSM will certainly not.

You are correct about the neighborhood. It's a very old neighborhood with pretty homes dating from every decade in the 20th century to the present decade.
This neighborhood is known in other 'hoods to be The place to trick or treat. "Kids" taller and bigger than you can imagine come here. We spend a fortune on candy, and when it runs out, it is often difficult to discourage people from still ringing the bell even after the porch lights are off and a sign "PLEASE DON'T RING BELL, BABY SLEEPING" on the door. (Of course we joke that we should have put the sign in Spanish...)
At the community meeting after the crime, people have said that this was the worst crowd from other areas they've seen, this year. One elderly man got up to speak and said how he enjoyed giving out candy to the kids for so many years, but when he ran out this year, the teens EGGED his house. He sadly said he would participate in Halloween no more.
Um, yeah, we're watching. ;)
I don't know but I don't think so. Many of them attended a school that wasn't this neighborhood's designated high school.
So what you're saying is that Halloween candy attracts vermin from far away to come into your nice middle-class neighborhood. Leading to a situation where perhaps the best solution is to stop the traditional Halloween handing out of candy, and just have a bunch of "residents only" Halloween parties in various places for the (pre-teen) kids
Urban youths only attack with excessive numerical advantage and usually with weapons, just in case. They are utter cowards.

The point I was making is US whites have made great strides in race relations. Not everything is perfect, but compared to the 1950's, if blacks attacked three white girls, the reaction in the white community would have been very violent. I guarantee an innocent black man walking or driving by would have been yanked, beatened, castrated and hung just to send a message to the black community that attacking white girls is off limits. Today majority of whites have moved one from such behavior. Inner city blacks are acting like the racists that they are complaining about in their history classes.
NO national outrage -------HUMMMMMMMM?
