Patriotism does not mean nationalism or chauvinism, and it does not mean willful ignorance. Many other countries have their merits, and to claim that patriotic Americans do not like other countries is bizarre.

America wasn't an option on the list, I guess they think it's safe to assume most Americans like America best.

America is just fine with me. But, on remembering other places I have been, in the Alp mountains of Yugoslavia (I know, it's a distant memory now), Italy (outside Naples would do), Greece (near Olympia), and France (Marseilles) would also be just fine.
