Only a small number of Republicans will support it, if any. Of course you'll conclude based on those few Republicans that the entire contingent of Congressional Republicans are supporting it.
After the vast majority of Congressional Republicans vote against it, you'll say they're just doing that to get back into power so they can then support it. It's obviously pointless for a Republican candidate to seek the support of someone like you.

For heavens sake...all we need are 40 republican or anti-amnesty democrats to stop the idea cold in the senate.
The question is, do we have 40 republicans left in the senate?
Gee, Thanks for painting me with that brush. I consider myself to be a little more intelligent than what you insinuate. It must be nice to be so intuitive, able to pass judgement based on a couple of sentences.

No actually I support many Republicans. Rick Renzi has been a personal friend for more than 25 years. However, I still believe more than a few Republicans will come out in support of this legislation, now that the weight of the election has been lifted and they can support Bush's non-amnesty plan.
Also, before you attempt to clobber me about Bush, I am an avid supported of most of his policies, I just don't support him on his border policies.
