Thank you
We have gained almost another 100 due to the interview!
Plus there is two interviews and an article posted here http://www.wben.com/news/fullstory.php?newsid=06376
I have to fly running late as I have been very busy with the emails and arranging for work.
Thank you,Billie..You are so nice to say this. You are a great teacher and inspirer!
LOL.I have years of experience with kitties and Christmas!
Thanks, Dolly! Glad you like it!
Here is my IDEA - an original as afar as I know. I have been doing this for about 30 years, starting back to my days in NC
I normally have this tree on my bedroom dresser & have twinkly lights on the mirror above it & it sets it off nicely. These little trees are too small for lights (IMHO) as they dry out so easily. One year I dried a small spotlight, but never did find it again in the massive boxes, decor I have.
What a neat idea! I like to put tiny lights everywhere! Around windows, swags over doors, etc. :)
You speaking of the earrings on that little tree made me go take a picture of a jeweled tree my sister-in-law made for me several years ago, using various jewelry she found at garage sales, from family members, etc. It's a little over 2 ft tall from the base to the topper.
WOW! WOW! WOW! I just listened to Taylor Hicks on Good Morning America! WOW!!
I knew you would appreciate this, Majjie! I LOVE that guy!!! And besides the voice, he plays a mean harmonica! WOW!
;)
I've been decorating the past couple of days. Went out to Michael's last week and got all the supplies for a new centerpiece for my dining room table. I wanted something to go on a white tablecloth that would look cold and frosty to go with some napkin rings I had made out of what looks like ice chunks. I am getting tired of the same decorations that I have used for years, and putting together this arrangement was just what it took to put me in the Christmas spirit.
Billie, I have tried making some seamless background graphics in the past and they were a lot of tedious work. I didn't know there was a plug in filter that you can use to make them. I'll have to look into that.
'Tis the season!!! Have a wonderful day, friends.
Awww, how cute!!! No kitty cats here, but some of the dogs we've had have been more interested in the tree decor than others - watering down the presents, trying to eat the fake berries, tearing all the stuffing out of Christmas pillows.... the list could go on; thank goodness they outgrow that kind of stuff by the second season!
Great! Always look forward to WFW's and the adorable stuff everyone posts!
Morning, SnarlinCub! Thanks so much - I love Christmas bling, too, obviously! :)
Absolutely beautiful, Billie.
I wish I had just a smidgen of your talent. I'm planning to put some garland and bows out this week. Exciting, huh?
Thank you for this wonderful Christmas Decorating Thread.
Cute, cute gif! Love the cows!
Morning, Anne! Gosh, you sing good! :)
Good morning, Billie. I have started a new project at a remote worksite and will probably not be posting much the next couple of weeks. I hope everything is going well with you.
Morning, snugs! Thank you for the little mini-tours of England you provide us during different holidays - enjoy seeing the pics!
Great interview,Rus!
wow, gorgeous. Is that the one you made Lori or the display at Michaels?
I am afraid my good stuff has not been out for years with feline population here.. I dont mind them playing with whatever around the house, but shame on me for putting valuable keepsakes out at this point.
maybe someday when things are "a little different"..
Magic.
