At least he's intellectually consistent, unlike the Hollywood types who spout green rhetoric from behind the wheel of their Hummers....
That's kind of what I thought. I think he's running on flawed information, but unlike the Hollyweirdos and other assorted hypocrites (almost all on the left) he's stated what he belives and now he's taking action to that end.

I wonder if anyone asked him, whether he'll be flying coach? Because if he really wants to reduce his "footprint", he' fly coach, because in coach you can fly 50% more people for using the same amount of fuel.
I await!

My New Year's resolution is to increase my carbon footprint by 10% a year for the next 10 years.I will also pledge that my carbon footprint will never come close to Charles and his family and his gardeners and his nannies and his butlers and his yardmen and his assistants and his yada, yada, yada.

Ridiculous idea. All it does is make travelling harder for others, whatwith Charles' entourage, security detail and all.

The man who should NOT be king. His mother seems to be doing her best to keep this from happening :)

He's not consistent - intellectually or otherwise. He's a middle aged man who's just now putting it into practice.
An intellectually honest Hollywood type is Ed Begley, Jr., who has always walked the walk and still comes across as a sane and pleasant human being. Begley's a liberal and environmentalist whom I can actually respect.
And I only choked a little when I wrote that.

That'd be fun to sit next him:"Hey, aren't you're that British guy who used to be married to Princess Diana?"
"Cool accent, are you Australian?"
"I'm a Son of the Revolution..."
"I've been inside Buckingham Palace before, have you?"
"Brave Heart's one of my favorite movies."
"Are you visiting your grand children?"
"Isn't the King of England... um... Benny Hill?"

3. Move offices and staff to an existing office building - do not maintain a separate palace for offices. Hey, the White House has been run like this for a long time. Makes it much easier to telecommute. LOL!
