Churchill: I'm gonna repeat that, tell me if I got that right: Why shouldn't we do something and how do you you move so they don't see you coming.
As to the first part, not a reason in the world that I could see. I can't find a single reason that you shouldn't in a principled way—there may be some practical considerations, such as do you know how (laughter from audience)

You don't send the American Indian Movement into downtown Seattle to conduct an action.

Ward Churchill has made some more despicable comments. This time, he is advocating military personnel to "roll a grenade under their line officer."
Churchill: "For those of you who do, as a matter of principle, oppose war in any form, the idea of supporting a conscientious objector who's already been inducted in his combat service in Iraq might have a certain appeal.
But let me ask you this: Would you render the same level of support to someone who hadn't conscientiously objected, but rather instead rolled a grenade under their line officer in order to neutralize the combat capacity of their unit?"

That's what feeds Churchill, the romance of hatred and the admiration it garners from those too young or hate-filled themselves to know any better. You will notice his scorn for those not committed enough to assault Wall Street and you might wonder why his own skin remains whole. It's because he's a fake, just as everybody who eggs on others to fatal stupidity while remaining safely on the sideline is a fake. This covers most of the imams who send teenagers out with suicide belts year after year. That's precisely what Churchill is advocating above. His own suicide would be an action far too genuine for him to accomplish.
Didn't he brag about damaging government property whenever he got a ticket? Call him a cowardly terrorist, a terrorist who hides behind others.
Why isn't he in prison?
Churchill has no clue what he's saying. He comes off like a little child mimicing the spech patterns of adults.
Even if Churchill and all the other old hippies got everything they wanted, and America became the "idyllic" land of their hippie dreams, they would still find something to scream and yell about. It's simply what they do.
Is that enough to put this moronic POS in the clink?
But in reading this it sounds like the audience member says he said it, he doesn't repeat that question word for word, so he never says it. Am I wrong there?
Certainly he is advocating some anti social action but it doesn't read here like he is recorded saying the quote about Arabs.
If arrogance and stupidity were crimes then ol'Ward would be doing life without a chance of parole.
Isn't there some law he's violating so we can get him off these campuses and stop his spread of sedition?

I'm just not up enough on the sedition laws to know if that is a slam dunk conviction.

Well said, Mister Drill. I think you're onto something there. He's just a big fake. Everything about his life is phony. He's mistaken notoriety for wisdom.
If he were to just sit back and ~not~ say outrageous things, then he wouldn't get invited to all the best parties and have gullible co-eds waiting with baited breath for his next psychotic utterance.
He probably gets chicks this way. Looking at the dude, he's not going to get them hanging around in yuppie bars... so why should he stop? I've had the misfortune of visiting Boulder on many occasions. I've even had the misfortune of dating in the Boulder Birkenstock environment... and I'll tell you... politics in Boulder are in a ~whole~ 'nother world of "shallow".
