I realize the military has its share of criminals, like the rest of society. (Actually, it has a lot less than "its share" of criminals, but there can still be any number of bad individuals who have served at one time or another.)

When I said "it bothered me," I meant to say I was bothered by the way the Dateline folks tried to discover and amplify any connection between the perps and the U.S. military. Why do these overpaid, coddled, effete NY journalists have to pick on the military that protects them?

We've seen most of these episodes. I don't think they relished in pointing out the military guys anymore than the doctors, teachers, etc.

And in almost all of the ones I can remember they made a point of highlighting what profession each perp was in.
