I see a victim of the government's rapacious appetite for the earnings of people in America. Are you upset that people are willing to come here and work, or that the government makes it difficult for them to do some legally?
The Dane I know believes that marijuana is the weed with the roots in Hell and causes untold deaths per annum and that 'pushers' of marijuana should be executed.
Knowing what we know about illegal aliens as a source of violent crime, I find it very difficult to believe that Dane would be so irrational to think that illegal aliens amount to 'victimless crime', as you stated. Certainly illegal aliens kill more than marijuana ever has, particularly illegal aliens that smuggle marijuana into the United States. That's got to be a super-double capital crime as Dane sees it, Lurker.
No no... You must have mistaken him, Lurker. I am confident that our Dane is vehemently opposed to illegal aliens doing illegal things. Please don't put words in his mouth. I am sure that he wants to send all illegal aliens back across the border where they came from by the surest and swiftest means available.

I think I was the one who used the phrase "victimless crime".
I roughly estimated that 1/3 of invalid IDs are borrowed from friends and family with the full knowledge and encouragement of the owner. In those cases, it is a "victimless crime".
In another 1/3, the ID is that of a person long dead or a number not yet assigned to anyone, or a number assigned to a child or other person and in which the amount of money reported on the illegal worker was so small that it caused no problem. Those also are "victimless crimes".
Then there is about 1/3 where there is a victim, as in the case above. In most of these cases, the victim is of the same ethnic background as the illegal using the stolen ID.
There is a 4th group I did not mention yesterday. Democrat Congressman Rostenkowski arranged for his patronage to be hired by the Social Security Administration (His committee controlled the SS. In Chicago, only Rostys people knew the date and location of the civil service exam to obtain that employment.) That patronage army SOLD Social Security Cards (and voter registration cards and Drivers Licenses to illegals. During the 60s they mostly sold to east Europeans illegals.
Then my friend Oscar Lopez (not an immigrant, nor of immigrant ancestry) organized the illegal Mexicans, Guatamalens, etc to protest that Rosty was discriminating. Thus in the 70's and since, the Democrats have sold SSNs, etc without discrimination based on race or ethnicity. (It still helps to pass a few Jacksons ... and of course, the illegal must vote Democrat at every election; but that is not a burden as the precinct captain will do it for you and save you the trouble.)
So really, there are 4 situations, not 3, of invalid SSNs. But since the 4th type are SSNs issued by the Social Security Administration itself, they are not seen as a problem by law enforcement.
