Nelson said he reported the information to embassy officials and will brief his congressional committees on the trip. Also expected to visit Syria is Sens. John Kerry, D-Mass., Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., and Arlen Specter, R-Pa..

Can't they just cuff and collar these asshats as soon as they get off the plane back on American soil?

Isn't it time we actually started acting as if we are at WAR ans locking up traitors

You're right. Nothing will be done about this either. Mary McCarthy, Sandy Berger, Joe Wilson, John Kerry, and Rockefeller (etc) have all committed treason and have emerged virtually unscathed. We elected this President to conduct this war and all foreign policy that goes with it. For this puke to assign himself as ambassador to Syria, against the wishes of our President has defied over 200 years of govt. protocol.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm sick to death of this treasonous crap. Bill Nelsons Washington number is #202-224-5274. I've let him know what I think about it. I know it's not much, but I'm just a peon who's fed up. There are two more Dem. Senators who plan to visit more of our enemies, one of them being John Kerry. I wonder what kind of reception he's getting in Iraq tonight? Maybe we'll get lucky and......nah.

Here's a better idea - let's just not let them back on American soil.
