Troops launch Taleban offensive
HUNDREDS of British, Estonian and Danish troops yesterday launched a major operation targeting Taleban in Afghanistan's Kandahar province. The offensive by soldiers previously based in neighbouring Helmand came as two suicide bombers killed at least two Afghan soldiers.

It seems that the good guys go on the offensive in these brutal mountain regions at the beginning of the Winter each year. Maybe it is because we are better equipped.
