"Dr. Janice Crouse of Concerned Women for America (CWA) sees Finer's report as a ploy to cast doubt on the need for abstinence-until-marriage programs. "My eyebrows went up when I first saw the numbers," she recalls, "and I thought that the results were a bit too pat because they fit so specifically into the agenda of Planned Parenthood and the Guttmacher Institute."
Thank you for sharing. Women were targeted long ago and are still being spoon-fed the "equality" crap. Before all that, we actually were on pedestals and were too stupid to realize it.
And the whole"right guy, right girl"solution is the crux of the issue.
I have thought in the past that I had met the"right"girl.Yet when I really got to know her well I found she has very serious issues so I had to let them go.
I think we get so desperate to meet that right person that we attatch our own fantasies to them as if it was truly who they were.We think wishing can make it so.
Ah,if it only could.
I give Annie props too.She is truly looking for truth and some sort of spiritual transcendence.
Though I'm not a woman,I think having an abortion would haunt one for the rest of a person's life. And its beyond me why one of the tenets of liberalism in America is unlimited access to abortion. If the Democrats ever got a brain and a heart they would find that opposing this horrid practice would bring them many more votes than they would lose.
People born in the 1940's got into premarital sex in the 1960's! Aha! I think we're onto something...
Guttmaker and Kinsey are of the same ilk. They both use their statistics in an attempt to remove the last of the barriers to "free sex", guilt and shame. Shame on our public schools for using their findings in the classroom as a basis for their sex educaion curriculum.
why? you're still risking std's and unwanted pregnancy--which leads to single-parenthood or abortion... or shotgun wedding... all you have to do is look at Hollywood, and anyone can see that they don't have the answer...
I frankly think this is a bunch of crap.
90 percent? Give me a break.
Around 60-70 percent.
