At least I now have the pleasure of listening to Lynn Cheney. What a lovely lady.

Very slick indeed. Watch the dems take every side of the war issue-- for it, against it and a little bit ambivalent, traitors, IMHO.

Too bad the Drive-by-Media chuckleheads don't see her as the clssy and smart politico she also is. To them it's first and always Hillary, even though Lynn Cheney would clean her clock in a debate.

RE: Rich Lowry's knavishness
I wonder what the publication numbers are for National Review these days. Lowry is such a weak sister.

I watched John Fund on Fox Sunday.
I could slap this guy silly.
Him and all the other armchair quarterbacks who know pretty much nothing.
Over and over..."we need more troops". It's a mantra and I don't think the pundits have a clue what they're talking about.
Now I DID see Gates, new SecDef, as he interviewed some grunts on the ground. They did say they needed more troops but hey, at least someone bothered to ask them. John Fund is a McCain supporter and he's just repeating talking points so far as I'm concerned.
If we need more troops on the ground, then so be it. I'm skeptical. I truly believe, silly me, that Rumsfeld knew what he was doing, the guy led two sucessful campaigns in Afghanistan and Iraq. If more troops were needed I believe Rumsfeld would have sent them in.
I really despise know-nothings who repeat a given mantra over and over and I have NO trust in their judgement. I speak specifically of wimpy John Fund but there are plenty more.
Frankly, at this point, I don't know who to trust. The leadership of this country is simply NOT leading.

The msm/dbm has dumbed down the public so much that they look for excuses why it was o.k. for the terrorists to attack and why we should be apologetic that they attacked us.Does the MSM still like to refer to September 11th as a tragedy, rather than an act of war?
To: Fishtalk
Frankly, at this point, I don't know who to trust.Easy. Trust yourself. I know of no pundit or Democrat who has a better understanding of what is really going on, or what the problems are that we face, than good old Freeper conservatives. The left uses polls to justify their past distain for defending America and the media is collectively knee jerking over those people who would pull out of our committment to freedom and democracy in Iraq or around the world. All these people can turn on a dime, supporting or opposing either side based on whatever poll is current.

Alright..... after seeing the first fifteen minutes of FoxNews Sunday ............. here is my Christmas message to all you Freepers who are on FreeRepublic for what I suppose is the same reason I am here.
Lynne Cheney should definitely be the next President of the United States of America.
This woman, without a pause at all, looks anyone asking her a question directly in the eyes and tells the beautiful truth without hesitation.
This woman is the best candidate the Republicans could place up for the Presidency in 2008.
This lovely, decent and honorably honest woman is the BEST spokesman for conservatism. There is no one better. She is a gem of a human being and a brilliantly intelligent spokesman of conservatism and the truth!
****
Merry Christmas to all.

Thanks! Lynn Cheney being on TV today is a great Christmas gift for everyone.
To: maica
Thank you, maica.
The way she answered all the questions from Chris this morning, even the ones about her next (sixth) grandchild were skillful yet gentle and completely honest.
She is in a class by herself. She is skillful, attractive, and GOOD.
I've seen her do this before, she is without any question the best we have.
I love that woman!!!
Dick picked a great one...... and Lynne did the same.
;-)

Yeah we do have those nasty hurricanes.
I just watched the first half of Laura Bush's interview with old Bob, she is a true lady and a wonderful spokesman for the President.
She is the kind of woman that no matter how you try its impossible to say enough good things about her.

Lynn is the best no doubt, she did a recent interview I can't remember where and it was awesome. She shut down the rat interviewer but I don't recall which one.
